What a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon! I was invited to go hiking with my daughter Megan and her family. We packed a lunch and set off for Standing Indian. I just love my NC mountains! It was a nice sunny but cool day so perfect for hiking. We hiked down to the BIG tree which was a easy hike. Hiking back up , well it wasn't so easy but sure was fun.
After the hike we stopped by the river and the kids had a blast playing in the cold cold water.

Now THAT looks like a beautiful hike! What a blessing, indeed! That wading water has my name all over it. Bet your water is warmer than ours too! LOL
