Loving Father, thank you that even when I feel trapped and my situation seems out of control, you are still at work in my life. Help me to see you even in the darkest times. Amen.
After a lifetime of adventures, living lots of places and making lots of mistakes I am back in the mountains of NC. Where I was born and raised. Where I raised 3 beautiful and wonderful daughters and where I now have 9 fantastic grandchildren. I can wake each morning to accept and enjoy God's blessings of the day. Thank you for stopping by to share them with me.
This morning when Rusty and I took our walk I decided to take the camera along. We live on a dirt road that runs along side of a lake. There are lots of wild flowers, trees, hills, etc to enjoy along the walk.
What a quiet, pretty place for you and Rusty to walk and enjoy God's beauty. It must make your heart beat faster to near home and see Grandma's Cabin waiting to greet you! I love your signs on the cabin.
Peggy I didn't even know you had started a new blog! I love the layout and can't wait for a rainy saturday to get caught up. You live in a beautiful area. I am very happy for you!

I enjoyed our little walk. It is sure beautiful there.
It looks like a wonderful place to take your walks. Guess you've had to grab a sweater this week. Lovely flowers.
Peggy,
Your photos are absolutely delightful. What a pretty place you live in. I love the Carolinas and have been through them several times.
Enjoyed my visit and still have some catch-up to do.
Blessings,
Mary
What a pretty walk, we could almost smell the flowers as we looked at the pictures.
