Quiet Saturday

Spent the entire day without going anywhere except for a walk with Rusty. Did a little cleaning, a little reading, a little stitching, a lot of napping and kept the Hallmark channel on all day. Loved the holiday movies. Caught up on my blog neighbors posts and just enjoyed the day. Hope your weekend is peaceful one.

My Saturday was much like yours. I enjoy not having to get out in traffic some days! Have you read any good books lately?

What a nice day you had! It's calming down around here - finally. Settling into Winter, with *some* of the things I wanted done finished. Got my first eggs this weekend - thanks for the advice, as always. I'll be around here more often now that I have some more time. Gorgeous template design!

Oh, a restful day. Aren't they the best? And none of us do that often enough at all.

You take care, sweet friend. :)

Sounds like a perfect Saturday, Peggy... We all need days like this sometimes. It's been cold, dreary, and rainy here today ----so for us, it was a nice day to stay inside with a big, roaring fire in the fireplace.

Have a great week.
Hugs,
Betsy

Great way to spend a saturday Peggy! I have been catching up on reading your posts that I have missed.

It's so sad you lost your dear sister when she was so young.

My dog loves riding in the car with the window down too, but not in the rain or if it's too cold!

I sure agree with you about them moving from Halloween right to Christmas, and sort of ignoring Thanksgiving. They even start before Halloween in some stores! Seems they get earlier and earlier every year.

Peggy, It sounds like you had a very relaxing day. The boys, Mom and I went for a little Christmas outing. It's posted on my blog. I think you would have enjoyed it.

Wishing you a great week.
Blessings,
Mary
