Wednesday Already

Grands and son in law home with bad colds. Think it was the rain showers during the Halloween party. I had a housecleaning job this morning and on the way down the steps to leave I turned my ankle. Made me sick at my stomach it hurt so much. I am almost afraid to take my shoe off as I know it will be purple. Seems like every year I either sprain a arm or ankle and its always stepping off one tiny little step. I can go up and down stairs all day and be fine. Its those small steps that get me everytime. I have done some rearranging and decorating in the cabin but will post pictures tomorrow. I am off to the cabin to check my foot and rest with a good book. Have a blessed day.

Hope it's OK! A lot of damage can be done if you keep twisting it. I broke my ankle when I was five and it's still weak today!! It has to carry a lot of weight though!! lol

Oh no, sis, I do hope you didn't do too much damage to your ankle!! Isn't it always the case though, it's the little steps that get us every time. Been there, done that! lol Such a shame your SIL and grands are sick with a cold, hopefully it won't last too long. Love you sis. xoxox

I cried out in sympathy when I read about you turning your ankle.Ohhhh! I know what that is like. It is painful. Less painful than when I cut my foot with a chainsaw.

On the postitive side, If it is swollen and deep purple it will make a great picture to post:O

Enjoy your book my dear.

Hello Peggy
Do hope the ankle heals soon - nothing worse than having to hobble around - and did you remember I.C.E. - Ice or cold water - compression - elevation?? Doesn't work every time but is a good remedy.
Take care
Cathy

That is a bummer about your ankle! You may want to have it checked to see that you didn't break any of the small bones in there...

I eventually broke my ankle. I have a theory, once you start spraining your ankle... when I broke it, I slid on a small incline. Start wearing high-top shoes, like lace-up boots, that give you good support around the ankles.
