A Baby For Christmas!

Isn't she adorable? Melody, who already has 5 children is taking care of this darling. She is helping a single mom who has had a rough time. The mom finally got a job but its working nights. Melody picks up the baby on her way home from work and takes her to her mom the next morning on her way back to work. When E is older and staying awake more during the day I get to watch her a few hours while the mom sleeps! She is a doll and just now started cooing and laughing. Last night I got to rock her to sleep. It felt so good holding and cuddling E.  I think she is going to be one spoiled little baby!

What a beautiful baby! Nothing feels better than to cuddle a little one when they are sleepy. My niece just had a little girl in Indiana and she is just learning to smile and notice the lights on the tree. What a wonderful Christmas blessing! Baby E is sure going to be loved!

How adorable. I am glad you get to hold her. Nothing like a good snuggle with a little one.

Hi Peggy, She is gorgeous... Isn't that nice of your daughter --being willing to help that single mom out??? Glad she found a job--but can't she get help from the state for daycare? In TN---there is financial help for people who have to work--and have babies, but don't make enough money to pay childcare. Well--that is just nice of you all for being willing to help.. The baby is adorable. Give her a hug for me.
Hugs,
Betsy

Oh my goodness! What a precious bundle of joy she is. There isn't a feeling in the world that compares to a baby falling asleep in your arms. What a blessing that she helps watch the baby for the single mom. That is invaluable help. I know because my mom was single too and I watched her strugle to make ends meet. Blessings

Peggy, there's nothing so comforting as rocking a baby. I used to rock the boys to put them down for their naps or to bed. I think it also gives the child a sense of security to be held and rocked.

Wishing you a wonderful evening.
Blessings,
Mary

She is adorable! How special that you and Melody are able to provide this precious little one with the love and security she needs. There is something about holding a little one in a rocking chair--all is right with the world when looking in the face of a sleeping baby! You are allowing yourself to be God's instrument in the life of E and her mother!
