Happy Day After

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We had a servere wind and rainstorm which left our road flooded. That was fine as I enjoyed watching the grands dig into Christmas at 5AM before going back to the cabin for a nap before lunch. Megan fixed a huge Christmas dinner at noon.Grandson read the Christmas story from the Bible and granddaughter said the blessing. Meal was wonderful and after cleaning up I headed back to cabin to watch movies and relax. Enjoyed a quiet afternoon till the road was  passable to Melody's to see the grands there. I had a very blessed Christmas thanks to family and friends. Rusty and Troubles even had gifts to open and are enjoying thanks to some very special friends. The snow is almost gone but the temps are staying cold so maybe we will get more soon. Stay warm and happy!

Love your blog colors, Peggy... So perfect for 'winter'... I've kept up with you these past few days--and it appears you have had a terrific Christmas this year. Just being around children is special this time of year since they have the enthusiasm which is contagious.

Sorry about all of the rain and flooding. We had heavy rains and HIGH winds here too. Yuk!!!!!

Hope you have another great week this week. Happy New Year!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy

I am glad you had such a lovely family Christmas.
I love the photo in you heading. I hope you get some more snow soon. If it stays cold with no snow maybe you will find a frozen pond to slide and skate on.

I am off the the city for New Years. I hope the New Year brings you some interesting challenges and many occasions of joy with family and friends.

Hey, Peggy. I love your new site... I have been wondering how you are. It took me a while to find you. I have been reading some of your old posts, so glad you are well and surrounded by your loved ones.

Your little cabin is just precious:-)

Stop by if you get a chance.

OH! MY! I love your header! But it looks too much like our cold! Still to stand and look at it is nice.

January is upon us...onward cold!

But the days are growing longer so that helps.
