How I Spent My Saturday

Today was grandsons scrimmage game. He was running a fever last night and this morning but still played. It was such a blessing to be able to be there to see him and his team. Next week is going to be a all day scrimmage and I plan to be there too.

Good Sunday Morning Peggy, That's a fine looking grandson and I know you enjoy watching him. I know you and he both will be glad when the weather cools a little bit and these games will be even more enjoyable. We are real cloudy this a.m. - maybe we will get rain today. I sure hope so. Hope you enjoy the day. Aren't you excited to get the cabin??? Keep us posted!

I remember playing a little football (Canadian football. I will let you discover on the Internet the unique features of the Canadian game.) I played center, having mastered the skill to pass the ball between my legs will perfect spirals for the kickers. My career did not last long as I suffered from a chronic facture in my lower back which gave me lots of pain for years.

Your cabin will be a great project for you. You had so many wonderful things in your home in Fayetteville. I hope you will get some of those treasures eventually.

Catching up with all I've missed!! You have been keeping very busy with the grandkids!! I love your new pal Rusty!! So cute!!

I'm excited to see the cabin and how you will fix it up! Will it have heat so you can stay there during the winter? I guess you'll reveal all that to us later though! I'm sure you will have it looking so cute!!

I'm glad you had a nice visit with your friends from MO.

It's been so hot and humid here lately, that just walking outside and I sweat. I'll be glad when it gets a bit cooler and less humid!

I am glad that Diva and some of the other animals are going to good homes. I know you miss them. Even WE miss them!!

Hugs,
Rachel
