Cabin Coming!

Cabin arrives Monday morning! Excited but wow what a busy day. Granddaughter has surgery at 7AM and the cabin arrives sometime that morning. It will all work out I am sure. Had the perfect visit from Corky and Milt. I am also blessed with some awesome things for the cabin. Megan has given me alot of items as well as taken me thriftstoring and yardsaling. We found some great items that will go perfectly in the cabin. I am hoping to give it a primitive/country look. At least in my mind it looks good. I was at Melody's for a few days while Rusty was at Megan's. He hid in the closest most of the time and they had to carry him outside to do his business. I came back today and he runs right to me and wouldn't get out of my lap. After giving him lots of loving I ask if he wanted to go outside and he dashed to the door and waited on me before rushing outside. He did his business and then walked around the yard with me. Back inside he is back in my lap. Can't wait to get settled in the cabin where he and I can be a happy little family. Grandson has a scrimmage game tomorrow evening. Megan has to work so I will be going with the family to watch. He is starting receiver and is so happy. Cheerleading granddaughter just got back from cheerleading camp where they won several blue ribbons and a trophy. Though they were middle grade they beat out all the high school teams for best dance routine. That just made her day! 2 of the grandsons are camping this weekend. 2 of the grands are at their other grandmas and the rest are home with their parents. I have been taking them to the river to swim and drop from the rope swing. I am so blessed to be able to spend some time with the grands. Its been a long time since I have had the time. All in all its been a great week even with the sad times that mixed themselves in. Have a blessed weekend !

Hi Peggy, Wow is it busy around your place! That is so sweet about Rusty missing you. I cannot wait for you to get the cabin. If you enjoy primitive, look at Carolyn's blog @ http://primitivedevotion.blogspot.com. She loves to shop thrift/Goodwill and adores primitive crafts. I wish you a good weekend.

Hi Peggy, I love reading your posts---and knowing that you are 'moving on' with your life. How blessed you are to have kids that love you and want to help you and want to be with you. And you are getting to know your grands all over again. How wonderful!!!

I know that there are sad times--because that is normal. BUT--maybe with each passing day, the happy times will outweigh the sad ones.

Hang in there. Can't wait to see the new cabin.
Hugs,
Betsy

I really enjoyed reading this as it sounds as if your life is taking a more positive turn. There are bound to be some downs with the ups but it sounds as if the ups will be taking precedence now. For your sake I hope so.

I can't wait to see pics of your cabin all decked out in your personal style!!

We are certainly jealous that we couldnt be a part of a very select group with you all! It's just too bad that we can't move South Dakota a little closer to NC!

I am so so HAPPY for you Peggy..it sounds like you are starting to get your life back together once again. I knew that you would...Rusty is a sweet heart for sure...I always wanted a dog like that but we have always had cats..which with Annie now all is great.
Sorry that I have not visited much..but now that I have and see that you are good..that is wonderful.

Well, If I weren't so darn much older than you, I do believe I'd ask you to be my grandma.

Sounds like you're embarking on another grand adventure. I do believe I must call you Lemonade Lady. My thoughts and prayers are with you as always.
