Sorry

I haven't posted in a few days. I have been helping Megan. She is moving from her apartment to her house and DSL wasn't hooked up. I also have a new guy in my life! Hold on, its a four legged one! LOL I will post pictures of Rusty later when I remember where I put my camera. I also have photos of football practice, and the injuries some received while moving a sofa but they weren't mine. Am resting up at Melody's tonight as tomorrow I am volunteering with her at fill a bus. Each year her office gather donated school supplies and try to fill a bus so that as many children as possible have school supplies to start school. I am excited to be a part of it and hope we fill the bus full!! I will take pictures if they let me. Been thriftstoring and yardsaling with Megan and found some great things for the cabin. It should be delivered by Wednesday and then the fun of getting it all set up begins. I will absolutely take pictures as we work on it and when its all finished. Have a blessed weekend and I promise pictures soon!

Hello Peggy, I am looking forward to pictures of the new guy, Rusty. Also looking forward to keeping up with the progress on your cabin. I have a little cabin on my homestead for my sister to stay in when she comes to spend time with us. We have completed the insulation, electrical upgrades, installed cabinets with my brothers help, toilet with a stall like the ones in Longhorn restaurants. Still have to install wooden floors and a bit more.
Have a wonderful weekend and goodluck with filling the bus.

Good evening Peggy, I hope Megan's move has gone smoothly. That's a neat idea about filling the bus full of school supplies. I hope you and Melody have great success. Now, about Rusty.....I can't wait! I'm also anxious for your cabin to get there and see what goodies you have found to go inside. Have a good day tomorrow and sleep well tonight.

What is Rusty? Knowing you he could be a dog, goat, iguana or any one of a number of things!!

It seems as if life is looking up a bit for you although I'm sure you still have your moments..

I am sorry to hear you have a four legged friend. I was thinking you might be the perfect person to take in my brother's adorable Labradoodle. He may have to find a home for it. If he and his wife hike the length of the Appalachan Trail, starting in March they will not be able to keep it.

Hi Peggy, I know I should comment more often. Just wanted to let you know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers. I even managed to do a short prayer on my knees the other day when I had to search for something under the bed. Figured I might as well take advantage while I was down there. Believe me, getting back up is no picnic nowadays. So glad to hear all the good stuff happening in your life.

No need to apologize sis, we completely understand how life can take over! lol You scared me when you said you had a new guy in your life...I thought oh no, that's all she needs right now! LOL Glad to hear it's a 4 legged one! hehe What a wonderful idea the "fill a bus" is! I've never heard of collecting school supplies but it's a brilliant idea. Hope all goes well and that the bus gets filled completely:-) Love ya sis xoxox

Hi Peggy, We are home from vacation. Sounds like you have had a busy week. That is so neat that you went back to the little church where you attended many years ago... Now--the grands are going there. How special!!!

Can't wait to meet Rusty... We all need a 4-legged man in our lives!!! ha... Sounds like you are still happy to be 'home' with your kids and grands.

Hugs,
Betsy
