Granddaughter #2 is cheering at her middle grade football game this evening. After her game she and I will be working in the concession stand for the JV game. Her mom is working late every night this week with parent meetings so I got a call last night from granddaughter asking if I could help. I haven't been to a game to see her cheer so am looking forward to that and to working with her. She is a nut! Always laughing, joking and sometimes her blonde moments come out and have me rolling on the floor.
I will be sure and take some pictures of her in action.
On a different note I want to say thank you to my blog friends and neighbors. I am so blessed to have such sweet, caring, understanding, loving people in my life. Your cards, gifts, emails to see how I am doing, to take time out of your busy life to think of me means so much to me. God has truly blessed me with the most awesome friends!

Have fun at the game tonight :) I know you'll enjoy every minute of the game with your granddaughter cheering. I bet she is excited about it. Go Panthers! Don't work too hard after the game ;)
Oh how sweet is that? And your granddaughter is very pretty too!
Your granddaughter is very pretty and I'm sure she has worked hard to be a cheerleader. I'm glad you get this chance to watch her and then spend time working with her. Have fun!
she's cute and I love red, go panthers.
How fun!

Peggy, What a gorgeous young lady. Glad you got to go and see her 'cheer'.... Can't wait to see more pictures.
You are SPECIAL!!
Hugs,

Your granddaughter is as cute as a belly button.
I guess young women don't like such remarks.
I am very fond of young teen girls and all the ambiguous things they go through as they mature.
My favourite was my "daughter" (actual the daughter of a long time lady friend of mine)who at one moment would be trying out some coquette move on me within the safely of our relationship and next I would catch her curled up with a stuffed toy sucking her thumb.
This child-woman too was blonde and grew up to be a wonderful person, wife and mother.
