Welcome back, Peggy.... We have some freezing rain RIGHT now... AND there's still tons of ice and snow on the ground from Fri/Sat... Schools will be out for days around here I'm sure...

Take care and am looking forward to your being back online.
Hugs,
Betsy

I hope your power stays on so you can keep warm! Maybe you have wood heat as we do although our last power cut came when it was -30 and our fireplace did not keep us very warm but it was better than nothing!!

I am glad you are getting some nice colder weather and snow. You had so little when you were a flatlander. Now that that you are a Mountain gal you get to experience more dramatic weather.

Our weather is dull this year. I don't know if my neighbour Amelia and your sister Pea, just over in Sudbury, would agree. We have had not very much snow at all. What we do get, stays. We are still enjoying the foot we got two months ago. Since then, it is just a few snow showers from time to time to freshen things up. The piles of snow by the side of the road would normally be four feet high now. They are less than a foot. We even had some rain which threatened to take it all away and ruin the snow mobile trails. After that, we recovered a little with about 3 inches, not even enough to bring out the snow plow on our road. It looks like another Winter drought this year.
