Here are some photos of the walls of the tiny cabin. I embroidered a few pictures and the rest are things either given to me,purchased at thrift stores or yardsale.
The flag with buttons picture I found at a thrift store. I love it and want to try and make a different picture using old material and buttons.

Good Morning Peggy, I LOVE the woodstove. I also love how you have everything decorated so warm and cozy. I see your thimble collection along with all your beautiful embroidery. My favorite is the one about "even when we don't know the words to pray." I like your idea of using buttons to make more samplers too. What a pleasure to "visit" with you in the cabin today.
The stove is just wonderful. I remember when we lived in Oregon how wonderful the stove made everything feel so warm and cozy. Your samplers are all fabulous. Such labors of love. Hugs, Marty
Peggy, I just LOVE your little cabin!!!
Everything looks so nice and cozy. I think there is nothing better than a wood stove heating a home. JD and I are thinking that we need to find another heat source though before too long because chopping the wood and hauling it is getting to be a lot on JD.
I love your little sampler In a cabin in the wood. Did you make that? The words are so very true to any one that lives in a cabin in the wood.
Enjoy your new cozy space and remember that God will see you through no matter how rough things get. It is all part of the big picture that he is painting. Love ya girl.
Love the cabin in the wood picture (or is it a pillow?)
My friends folks had a cabin in the mountains when we were growing up. It was a one room log cabin with an out house. Loved the wood stove they had. It is full of wonderful memories for me.
Your tiny cabin is darling Peggy.
I love your cabin and want one myself for when I need a break!!
We heat with wood and it's the nicest heat there is. Our wood furnace heats our whole house and quite often it gets so hot I have to unstick a frozen window and open it for some (icy) cool air!!
There is nothing better than wood heat.
Your little cabin sure does look inviting.
Thanks for showing us around.
Hi Peggy! We have the same stove in our kitchen. It is not hooked up with pipes but I still love it. There is something so homey about it. Your flags are adorable. Hope you have a fantastic day.
Thanks for the tour of you cabin. You stove is very nice and can make your cabin very hot if you get too large a fire going it in. Is that a kettle on top. You will have to keep the humidity up in the drying heat of the wood.
You don't need me telling all this. As an old mountain gal you know all this. :)
Maybe some of you animals will decide to sleep by the stove rather than on top of you.
I agree with the other "Linda"- I just love your cabin. I love the flag with the button. It is warm and looks like home! Wood heat is so much warmer than any other heat.
Everything looks wonderful and it looks so cozy with the woodheater. I love the stitching " In a Cabin , in the wood " , so peaceful sounding. There's been many times I wished I were in a one room cabin in the woods and didn't have so much stuff to clean (LOL).
~ Warmest Blessings ~
Peggy, I love the wood stove. I know it keeps the place warm and cozy. We are going to start splitting wood here. I am so excited about that (not). Enjoy your new stove. The embrodery looks very nice. The primative ones are my favorite.

Oh Peggy, Your cabin is just precious. I love how you have decorated it... It's truly home to you, isn't it????? And that stove just makes it more cozy... I'm so happy for you.
Hugs,
Betsy
It's all so cute and cozy Peggy!!
You probably already have a smoke alarm, but with the woodstove I'd definitely want one. The woodstove only adds to the coziness!
I especially love that sign,
In a cabin, in a wood, in my soul, all is good! Hugs, Rachel
How adorable, indeed. The stove is a darling. :) And your little home is so sweet...you'll have to call yourself Mrs. Tittlemouse after the Beatrix Potter character. She had a tiny home as well.
Hugs to you, friend. :)
There is nothing better than wood heat! I love your tiny house. When we go to Grand Junction there is a dealer there of tiny houses, I always think of you, AND I always thing, if I had to I would like one.
